Casa das Pedras Grandes is an old Portuguese dwelling built with local stone. It has been recently renovated and modernized mixing traditional crafts and design with modern materials and technology, to make a comfortable and attractive home.

TV with dvd and English freeview satellite channels, a fridge for that cold glass of wine and tea and filter coffee making facilities. Or you can just sit with a drink and enjoy the scenery.

The Local Area
Located in a small hamlet, in the beautiful rural setting of the Serra da Lousã, Central Portugal. It is ideal for those that want to get away and experience some of the true character and beauty that this country has to offer. The surrounding countryside is a mixture of pine and scented eucalyptus forests, which cover the hills and mountains in a carpet of green. Rivers wind through the valleys which provide swimming from the Praia fluvial (river beaches)in the summer, fishing and other water sports.
